Drum screen model RBS
The drum screen is self-cleaning and ideal for dewatering process water and industrial waste water. Fibre recovery and dewatering reject from cleaners are typical areas of application in the paper and pulp industry.
The water to be treated is fed into the end of the screen drum, down onto the slowly rotating screen surface, through the slot opening and then exits at the central outlet under the screen drum. Separated material is dewatered and fed continuously out at the lower front edge of the drum before being collected in a container or conveyor.
The screen drum is a slotted screen with a conical taper. The drum, supported on four rollers, is driven continuously at low RPM. The system is fitted with wash pipes for continuous or intermittent rinsing of the drum’s slots. Drum screen RBS is supplied fully assembled with a drive unit, wash valve and control panel. Model RBS is available in four sizes.
