Drum screen model RT-1500

The drum screen is ideal for purification of raw water intended for process and cooling plants in all water-consuming industries.

Function

The drum screen RT-1500 is self-cleaning, works unpressurised and can be operated continuously or intermittently. The water to be purified is fed in through the drum’s open end and on out through the cloth-covered side of the drum. Large contaminants are collected in baskets fitted inside the screen drum while small particles are collected and retained on the filter cloth. Collected contaminants are washed efficiently off the screen surface when the slowly rotating screen drum passes under the wash pipe. The wash water and contaminants are washed down into the drain pipe which emerges outside the drum’s vessel.
The drum screen RT-1500 is supplied fully assembled in a vessel fitted with a control panel and a level monitor for starting/stopping the screen drum and wash pump and for producing an alarm if the water level is high.
The RT-1500 is available in three sizes.
