Self-cleaning filter model RS

Model RS is a self-cleaning filter that works under pressure. The filter is designed for purification of lake and river water and process water. Typical areas of application are purification of cooling water and sealing water in industry and hydroelectric power stations.

Function

The water is fed in through the tangentially located inlet in the side of the container and continues downwards around the slotted tube, in through its side and on up to the outlet. Contaminants are collected on the outside of the slotted tube and in the bottom of the container. The filter is cleaned automatically as the slotted tube rotates against a stationary scraper at the same time as the drain valve is opened. Cleaning and draining are controlled automatically by time and differential pressure.

Model RS is available in three sizes.

Stainless steel EN1.4301 or EN1.4404 and EN1.4436.

A wash pump is not required. Even large objects are washed into the drain. Easy maintenance. The screen element can be lifted up as a complete unit. There are then no parts left in the container.
